SPECIFICATIONS
specifications are subject to change.
Platform
- Conventional or cab-over cab & chassis choice, dual steering in cab
- Cummins 400 HP power plant to support hydraulic functions
- 1000 gallon water tank
- 20” single hit drum able to be narrowed to any cut width
- Standard set up ships with 16” cut utilizing PCD teeth
Hydraulics
- Foldable steel guide wheel assembly, movable to both sides of the truck, with hydraulically driven up and down control.
- Hydraulic water pump
- Hydrostatically controlled creep drive propulsion system
- Rumble box assembly hydraulically pivots to road level for cut operations, then is stored for road travel with hydraulic cylinder to pin/lock the assembly in its stored position
- Chain driven side shift function to move rumble assembly to either side of truck
- Tilt cylinder capable of holding box in position when rumbling on a crown or on edge of road
- Hydrostatically controlled pump/motor to operate the eccentric pattern shaft
- Hydrostatically controlled pump/motor to drive the rumble head
Electrical
- Over cab light bar/beacon, grille mounted front strobe lights, rear strobe lights on fender and off rumble assembly
- Rear facing 4’ by 8’ 25 light arrow board
- Night lighting package: forward facing, side and rear work lights
- Electronic depth control actuators for fine adjustment of cut (manual turnbuckle option also available)
- Reverse camera as well as two operational cameras magnetically mounted to ensure proper cut alignment and visual observation of the rumble assembly for the driver
- Display mounted in cab to monitor the status of system hydraulics, shaft speeds, and other pertinent system data
- Proprietary rumble control system that can be customized for any cut spec. All major cut patterns already built in to the system
- Capability of entire rumble process being performed in cab. Ancillary controls on rear of machine, as well as handheld remote control for select functions
Mechanical
- Heavy-duty rear rumble assembly designed with durability and longevity in mind
- Belt Driven Rumble Head and Eccentric Pattern Shaft
- Rumble Box utilizes outboard bearing design, which facilitates maintenance and repair
- Cam Plates mated to pattern shaft for easy conversion from sinusoidal cut pattern to regular rumble pattern
- Fender mounted toolbox for spare part and tool storage
- Air tank charged from power plant air compressor (38 CFM) for air tool operation
